Music Theatre of Connecticut, Fairfield County's professional award-winning theatre company, celebrates their 30th anniversary with a one night only evening of food, drink and entertainment. The 30th Anniversary Celebration is set for Saturday, October 15, with food and drink at 6:30pm, followed by a performance in MTC's cozy 110-seat theatre. Tickets are extremely limited and proceeds benefit MTC and its programming.

Nancy took the audience on a musical journey, returning to the heady days of her Broadway life. Expect this Golden Age leading lady to sing the brilliant songs of Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne,Burton Lane, and Stephen Sondheim. Nancy also regaled the audience with tales of being the first co-host of Good Morning America, co-starring in the New Dick Van Dyke show, and starring with Ted Knight in 'Too Close For Comfort', before returning to Broadway in Side By Side By Sondheim and Into The Woods. In 'My Life-Upon The Wicked Stage' Dussault brought her musicality, comedic storytelling, and unique personal accessibility to songs including 'Getting Married Today', 'Look To The Rainbow', 'Where Is The Tribe For Me', 'Old Friend' and of course, ' Make Someone Happy'.

Update: Despite reports yesterday that ABC's DIRTY DANCING remake may feature a handful of original songs when it premieres later this year, representatives from both the network and Lionsgate have now confirmed to BroadwayWorld that no new tunes will be inserted into the original material. ABC's update will instead remain in line with the original 1987 blockbuster film.
