L.A.'s Classical Theater Ensemble, The Antaeus Company, presents the World Premiere of an exciting new adaptation of a literary classic, COUSIN BETTE, written by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Jeanie Hackett.  As the first production in Antaeus' first full season of plays, this world premiere begins previews January 23rd and opens on Saturday January 30th & Sunday January 31st and runs through March 21st at Antaeus' interim home, Deaf West Theatre, located at 5112 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

South Coast Repertory has announced the lineup of actors and directors who will participate in the 12th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF). Since its creation in 1998, PPF has grown into one of the most important festivals of new scripts in the United States. This year?s Festival will take place during the May 1 through May 3 weekend and will feature five staged readings and two fully-produced World Premieres on South Coast Repertory?s Segerstrom and Julianne Argryos Stages. South Coast Repertory will present The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz. Helmed by Artistic Director Martin Benson, The Heiress will run from Oct. 17 through Nov. 16 on the Segerstrom Stage. Low-priced previews are available from Oct. 17 through Oct. 23. South Coast Repertory today announced the cast and creative team for The Heiress, the psychological drama of love, innocence and betrayal by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz.

The New Conservatory Theater Center (NCTC), in San Francisco, is pleased to announce the addition to their staff of Jovan Olague, noted Bay Area producer, director and production stage manager, as casting director, effective September 1, 2008.
