BroadwayWorld is excited to report that BROADWAY: BEYOND THE GOLDEN AGE, Award-winning director Rick McKay's anxiously awaited sequel to his 2004 hit film, BROADWAY: THE GOLDEN AGE, is set to make its World Premiere at the 27th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival, which takes place January 1-11, 2016.

American Dance Machine for the 21st Century (ADM21) will return to New York City's Joyce Theater (175 Eighth Avenue), staring Monday, December 21 through Sunday, January 3rd. Nikki Feirt Atkins is Founder and Producing Artistic Director of ADM21. Directed by Tony Award® winner Wayne Cilento (Wicked, Sweet Charity revival, Aida, The Who's Tommy), this year's program will include theatre dances from 'Broadway and Beyond' with live music provided by musical directorEugene Gwozdz. This return to The Joyce follows last year's sold out performances and promises once again, to rekindle old memories for theater dance enthusiasts and spark the imagination of audiences not yet familiar with these masterpieces. A number of firsts are occurring as the City of Vista's Moonlight Amphitheatre raises the curtain on a new era beginning in January. The Amphitheatre's new performing arts program, Moonlight Presents, offers its first series, Moonlight Cabaret, and at the same time inaugurates its new performance space: ClubM. For one night only, on Friday, Jan. 15 at 8 pm, Moonlight Presents offers a sold-out performance of Susan Egan: The Real Housewife of Broadway.  

New York City Ballet's Georgina Pazcoguin will join American Dance Machine for the 21st Century at a special guest artist during their return to the Joyce Theater (175 8th Avenue), December 21, 2015 - January 3. 2016. Known for her wide range of dramatic and dynamic roles as a soloist at NYCB, including Anita in Jerome Robbins' West Side Story Suite, Pazcoguin will perform in all of the evening shows, in which she will be featured in the Chita Rivera role in Jack Cole's 'Beale Street Blues,' Victoria's solo from Cats, and Jerome Robbins' 'Mr. Monotony.'

Pioneer Theatre Company presents the premiere musical event It Happened One Christmas, tonight, December 4 through December 19, 2015.   

 Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, today announced that that they have cast the three major roles in the world's most famous tribal rock musical HAIR, which will run for three previews and 20 performances at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse in West Palm Beach, starting on Friday, May 20, 2016, following two previews.

UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Drama presents the classic Broadway musical, Man of La Mancha, tonight, November 14 - 22, 2015. The show marks the first performance in the 'Care/Cure/Corruption' Series for the 2015-16 Drama season. The production also marks the department's return to the Irvine Barclay Theatre stage.

Ballet luminaries OLEG BRIANSKY and MIREILLE BRIANE will receive the 2015 'Educational Visionary' Lifetime Achievement Award, as 'visionaries who have promoted innovation in education through the arts.'  Partners in life and dance for over 50 years, Briansky and Briane are being honored for their distinguished careers as dancers and choreographers, as well as for their exemplary role as founders and teachers at The Briansky Ballet Center for over 45 years.  Presenter will be Lori Klinger, Artistic and Executive Director of Rosie's Theater Kids, and host is comedian Nat Towsen, standup comedian and host of Nat Towsen's Downtown Variety Hour. The evening includes hors d'oeuvres and drinks, a silent auction of glamorous goods including gift certificates, dinners and vacations, and dancing to a hip DJ.

It was 20 years ago when Sarah Jessica Parker starred Off-Broadway in A.R. Gurney's off-beat comedy about a man and his dog, SLYVIA. Just last night her hubby Matthew Broderick had the honor of opening in SLYVIA on Broadway, joined by Annaleigh Ashford as Sylvia, with Julie White and Robert Sella.
