Art enthusiasts gathered last night (May 22) at Montalvo Arts Center for an exclusive members-only unveiling of its 2019-2020 Carriage House Theatre Concert Series line-up. The historic Silicon Valley venue announced a thrilling roster of performers from Meow Meow to The Second City, from Pablo Cruise to Loudon Wainwright III, tributes to The Beatles, Cream, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and an appearance by NPR's hit radio show and podcast "Selected Shorts." The season launches in October, offering a stellar line-up of theatre, comedy, magic, Grammy Award nominees/winners performing jazz, bluegrass, pop, rock, classical, new age, folk, Hawaiian music, and more. Tickets are now available to Montalvo members, and go on-sale to the general public beginning May 30. An acclaimed national radio show will broadcast live from the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts this winter, when Live from Here with Chris Thile brings its variety show format to Muriel Kauffman Theatre. The live radio broadcast will happen today, January 12, 2019, as part of the 2018-2019 Kauffman Center Presents series.

Prolific stand-up comedian, Tom Papa, is coming to Dairy Arts Center in Boulder, CO for one night only on Friday, February 15th. Show times are 7:00pm and 9:00pm.  Tickets are $32.00 and go on sale on Friday, November 16th.

When carb-loving comedian Tom Papa isn't doing stand-up, he is probably eating, thinking about or making bread (his specialty is sourdough), and he takes his passion for baked goods to the next level in the new Food Network series Baked. In his mission to find the country's best breads and pastries, Tom hits cities from coast to coast to shine a light on how local bakeries make life a little sweeter. He kicks the series off in New York City, where he devours glazed donuts covered in everything bagel topping, takes a master class in old world baking and discovers the bready, eggy, cheesy dish khachapuri. Tom then heads to Detroit, Boston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New Orleans, New Jersey and Cleveland in subsequent episodes. Baked premieres Monday, September 3rd with back-to-back episodes at 10pm (all times ET/PT) and 10:30pm.

Chris Thile announced that Kacey Musgraves and comic Sheng Wang will join him for a live broadcast of Live from Here, (formerly A Prairie Home Companion), on Saturday, May 26 at Wolf Trap!

Chris Thile will be hitting the airwaves for a broadcast of Live from Here (formerly A Prairie Home Companion) at Atlanta's Fox Theatre on Saturday, May 19 at 5:45 p.m. Broadcast guests include Father John Misty, Neko Case and comic Rory Albanese. Chris will also perform duets with Madison Cunningham.

JFL NorthWest - Vancouver's Comedy Festival - presented in association with SiriusXM Canada, is proud to add another element to its ten-day event, which takes place March 1-10. The JFL NorthWest Block Party will take place outdoor at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Plaza (695 Cambie Street) Wednesday, March 7 to Friday, March 9 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.
