The National Theatre of Great Britain's epic WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play, will make its premiere in Houston beginning May 27 with the Gexa Energy Broadway at the Hobby Center Series.

On 21 January 2014, The National Theatre's internationally acclaimed award-winning stage production of War Horse celebrates its 2000th West End performance. The celebrations began with Joey, the equine star of War Horse, visiting the iconic London landmark, the EDF Energy London Eye, where he enjoyed views across the capital, including the National Theatre where he made his first appearance back in October 2007. Monday 27 January 2014 the National Theatre's internationally acclaimed award-winning stage production of War Horse will release 130,000 new tickets for sale for the West End production taking booking at the New London Theatre to 14 February 2015.

On Wednesday 16 October the first ever UK tour of the National Theatre's War Horse officially opened at Birmingham Hippodrome. Four weeks and 31 performances later, the award-winning production has now been seen by just under 56,000 people playing to complete sell-out houses at every performance.
