Tom Gold Dance to Present World Premieres at Gerald Lynch Theater, 3/6-7

Tom Gold Dance will present two evenings of dance with a program that will feature two world premieres. Urban Angels with music by Karl Jenkins, choreography by Tom Gold, costumes by Janie Taylor is inspired by the weeping angels from the Dr. Who television show where these angels might look beautiful but move with a velocity that will astound you. The Ladies Room, music by Claude Debussy, choreography by Tom Gold is what happens when ladies meet in the ladies room. Find out as three ladies gather to reveal the private moments of what is happening in their life and come along with these three women on their own journey. A revival of La Plage, with music by John Zorn and choreography by Tom Gold is a journey from a tropical rainforest to the mythical La Plage where exotic creatures roam the beach and end in a fun beach romp.

The New Tropicana resort in Las Vegas unveils the Sky Villa Suites, which offer an entirely new level of luxury accommodations for guests. Located on the 20th floor of the Paradise tower, the suites offer breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip with floor-to-ceiling windows in an elegant and glamorous atmosphere. The Sky Villa Suites are a key part of the resort's approximate $200 million transformation that has touched every corner of the property including all 1,467 guestrooms, the casino floor and restaurants, and the Tropicana Theater.

NYAWA to Host First Annual NYC Sit-Down Arm Wrestling Championships, 2/9

The New York Arm Wrestling Association (NYAWA) announced today that the First Annual NYC Sit-Down Arm Wrestling Championships would be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Cheap Shots Sports Bar, 149-05 Union Turnpike Flushing, Queens, NY 11367. Spectator's admission is $5.00. Competition is open to the public and the event has no residency requirements. Entry fees are $25 for men and $5.00 for women. The proud sponsors are Ironmind.com, Captains of Crush Grippers , Cheap Shots Sports Bar and New York Arm Wrestling Association.

Tom Gold Dance has been invited back to be a part of Stars Of Ballet in Bilbao, Spain, as part of the program Works & Process at the Guggenheim. This will be the 5th season for the company in Bilbao. They will present performances on Wednesday, August 21 and Thursday, August 22 at 7:30 pm at El Auditorio del Museo Guggenheim, Bilbao, Spain.

Tom Gold Dance will perform as part of the Guggenheims Works and Process series on June 2nd and 3rd @ 7:30pm. In this interdisciplinary presentation that combines performing arts and science, New York Botanical Garden curator Dr. Michael Balick uses excerpts from theatrical performances to discuss the healing and harmful properties of plants and the use of plant-based remedies and poisons.

Dance from the Heart returns to New York City Tonight - Monday, January 28 and tomorrow Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with shows at 6:30pm & 8:30pm each night at Cedar Lake Theater, 547 W. 26th Street in Manhattan's West Chelsea Historic District. The exciting benefit will feature performances by more than a dozen of the most diverse dancers, dance companies and choreographers working today. Dance from the Heart will present a different program of performances for each night (see schedule below), a poignant anti-bullying number danced by teenagers and the world premiere of a piece choreographed by American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Marcelo Gomes.
