Stoopid Daddy Records will present An Evening of Swing, Stride and Boogie Woogie Piano tonight, October 19, 2012, 9 PM in association with the 12 Grapes Restaurant, 12 North Division St., Peekskill NY. The talents of 5 New York-based pianists will be featured: Dave Keyes, Jon Cobert, Scott Staton, Loren Korevec and Chase Garrett. Also featured will be 5 guest vocalists: The Blues Buddha, Duchess Di, Curtis Winchester, Susan McMahon and a rare NY performance by Denny Leroux.

The Barns at Wolf Trap Announces 2011-2012 Season

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announces the bulk of its 2011-2012 season at The Barns at Wolf Trap, Wolf Trap's sophisticated yet casual indoor venue that provides a distinctively intimate experience with the arts and boasts some of the finest acoustics in the Mid-Atlantic region. Brooklyn Center Announces 2010/2011 Music Series

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College announces its 56th season of music, dance, theater, and family programming reflecting the multicultural diversity of Brooklyn. The outstanding line-up features musical artists representing the genres of Latin Jazz, reggae, gospel, Broadway, klezmer, big band, and children's music.

Ravinia Festival Announces Lineup for its 2010 Season, 6/3-9/7

Offering up greater variety, including more than 50 debuts from Sting to Wagnerian tenor John Treleaven, Ravinia Festival Chairperson Pamela B. Strobel and President and CEO Welz Kauffman today announced details of the 2010 season, including a Chicago Symphony Orchestra residency that celebrates major anniversaries of Mahler, Chopin, Schumann, Barber, Bernstein and Copland, as well as milestone birthdays of Music Director James Conlon, Christoph Eschenbach and Stephen Sondheim. The season, featuring 117 separate events, runs from June 3 through September 7.

Emelin Theatre Presents SIMONE 11/7 and RONNIE SPECTOR 11/15

The Emelin Theatre has added two November concerts to its season with Simone-the accomplished jazz singer and daughter of Nina Simone- on November 7, and legendary girl group vocalist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Ronnie Spector on November 15. In addition to the line-up of concerts this fall, including country music chart-topper Bryan White (October 24) and Tony Award-winner and jazz singer Ann Hampton Callaway (October 25), the Emelin's 2008-2009 season will feature film, music, family programs and more.
