Following multiple extensions at his original Midtown home, America's most controversial comedian resumes performances in his downtown Manhattan roots. I'm Not a Comedian…I'm Lenny Bruce begins an eight-week engagement at the world-famous theatre of varieties The Box on Friday, March 8. Audiences following the sensational solo performance I'm Not a Comedian…I'm Lenny Bruce to its new downtown home will now get an extra dose of vintage entertainment. Producers Just Words Productions, LLC, in association with Theatre 68 and Lenny Bruce's daughter, Kitty Bruce, are pleased to welcome acclaimed burlesque artist Pearls Daily as the opening act when I'm Not a Comedian…I'm Lenny Bruce resumes performances at the world-famous theatre of varieties The Box on Friday, March 8.

This fall, The McKittrick Hotel (530 West 27th Street, NYC), home of Sleep No More, welcomed the arrival of Wonders at Dusk, an enchanted new evening of mystery and mind reading by acclaimed mentalist and illusionist Scott Silven. The production joined Silven's other hit show, the extremely intimate magic and dining experience At The Illusionist's Table, which continues to play to sold out audiences. Due to demand, both have now been extended to March in The Club Car.

The McKittrick Hotel (530 West 27th Street, NYC), home of Sleep No More, announces the arrival of Wonders at Dusk, an enchanted evening of mystery and mind reading by acclaimed mentalist Scott Silven. Wonders at Dusk joins the hotel's fall entertainment lineup in The Club Car on Friday and Saturday nights. Wonders at Dusk is currently in preview performances, with opening night slated for Friday, November 30.

Coney Island USA will present our Annual Spring Gala on Saturday evening, March 24, 2018. Our annual spring gala is the flagship fundraiser for our non-profit arts organization. This year's event will take place at Kitchen 21 on the boardwalk. Like our home at 1208 Surf Avenue, Kitchen 21 was formerly a Childs Restaurant. Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will celebrate its 24th year as a not-for-profit service organization with its annual gala, the TRU Love Benefit. This year's theme is Making Our Gardens Grow, recognizing three people who are each helping to change the landscape of theater in highly individual ways. The 2015 TRU Spirit of Theater Award, given to a member of the producing community who has demonstrated exceptional generosity, support and kindness to others in the business, will be awarded to producer Patrick Blake (The 39 Steps, Bedlam Theatre's Hamlet/St. Joan, Play Dead, My Life Is a Musical, The Exonerated, In the Continuum), also the founder of Rhymes Over Beats, a game-changing new hip hop theater company; the TRU Humanitarian Award will be presented to Teresa Eyring on behalf of one of American theater's pre-eminent service organizations, Theatre Communications Group (TCG); and the TRU Entrepreneur Award, given for consistency, unique thinking and innovation, will be presented to Linda Amiel Burns for 38 years of The Singing Experience, a unique cabaret workshop that helps ordinary people blossom into singing 'stars.'

The Lion, the gripping, highly acclaimed autobiographical solo show written and performed by Benjamin Scheuer, opened last night, February 8th, at the Lynn Redgrave Theater at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street). Directed by Sean Daniels, The Lion will play an extended engagement Off-Broadway through March 29th, following an award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and sold-out productions at the Manhattan Theatre Club and London's St. James Theatre.
