The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will present the seventh annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Jeff Blumenkrantz. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, will be presented by Bebe Neuwirth on Monday, November 28th from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lobby of The American Airlines Theater.

This is indeed a play that tackles the issue of suicide, but I want you to know two important things about it: The play doesn't take this difficult subject matter lightly, and it also allows for a new way into this issue that isn't all gloom and doom.

On Sunday, November 6, 2011, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), now celebrating its 20th year, will host the 2011 TRU Love Benefit at Caroline's on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th ).
