Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award winner Chita Rivera, Tony nominees Stephanie J. Block and Tony Sheldon, Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple, 'Orange is the New Black'), and Laura Michelle Kelly (Finding Neverland) are among those joining the stunning cast of this year's Broadway Backwards, a one-night-only musical celebration, custom-made for the LGBT community, our friends and families. In addition, it was announced that Tony winner Julie White, a longtime supporter of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will host this year's 11th edition.

Sarah Charles Lewis is hands down the most energetic leading lady on Broadway. When we sat down on her couch in an Atlanta suburb to eat homemade cupcakes and talk about her upcoming Broadway debut in TUCK EVERLASTING, she could barely contain her excitement.

Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown's wildly successful and acclaimed concert series is back at SubCulture this year. Each unique performance incorporates an eclectic mix of material, featuring music from throughout his acclaimed career, along with new works in development. Plus, there's always the possibility of some very special guests stopping by to join Jason. This past year has seen Tituss Burgess, and, joining him most recently this past weekend, Lena Hall. 

THE MEETING* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater to continue the Winter/Spring 2016 season on Sunday, February 21 at 9:30 PM.  The February show will honor the iconic musical CABARET with special guests Lesli Margherita, Wesley Taylor, Jessica Phillips and Nathan Lee Graham. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

MCC THEATER announced today the all-star lineup of performers set for their annual Miscast gala, including: Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess; Tony Award winners Lea Salonga and Linda Lavin; Tony Award nominee Keala Settle; and stage and screen stars Ana Gasteyer, Aaron Tveit, Beth Behrs, Megan Hilty, Cynthia Erivo, Ana Villafañe, and Shanice Williams.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) has named its winners for the 31st Annual Artios Awards, which took place tonight in both Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton and in New York City at The Hard Rock Cafe.

Broadway quadruple threat and Bistro Award winner, Robert Creighton, who recently starred as the title character in the critically lauded CAGNEY at the York Theatre Company, brings an all new show, 'Lucky In Love,' to Metropolitan Room on Monday, February 8 at 7pm. Creighton will sing a love and romance-themed repertoire in honor of the season, and you can expect to experience a spectrum from laughter to tears. Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, today announced premiere dates for several upcoming comedy series and kids series; the renewal of its acclaimed drama Marvel's Jessica Jones; and casting on the highly-anticipated series Black Mirror.

Netflix announced a Season 3 renewal order at Sunday's TCA. The announcement comes ahead of the April 15th Season Two premiere of the comedy from Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

If you need us in the foreseeable future, we'll be in a comfy chair binge-watching Netflix.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Frank had several guests on hand to surprise Groff, including friends Tituss Burgess, Alyse Alan Louis, Jenni Barber, and his 'Looking' co-star Russell Tovey.
