James Monroe Iglehart Revisits His Friends in Agrabah

James Monroe Iglehart, the iconic originator of The Genie in ALADDIN, recently stepped down from the role that earned him a Tony in 2014. The actor will soon be joining the Broadway cast of HAMILTON as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson. It seems, however, that Iglehart was feeling a little nostalgic as he announced on Twitter that he's on stage this weekend as Genie. Time to get some last minute tickets!

Steven Pasquale Will Join Jason Robert Brown for Two Shows at SubCulture

Due to demand, SubCulture artist-in-residence Jason Robert Brown will welcome Steven Pasquale for a second show this weekend. The star of Brown's The Bridges of Madison County will join him in concert on Saturday, March 18 at 8 p.m. (sold out) and now 10 p.m. Click here for tickets!

THE MEETING Will Honor The Velvet Underground at Joe's Pub 3/19

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, March 19 with a celebration of the legendary rock band Velvet Underground at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests will be announced soon. Tracy Stark, who leads a four piece band, serves as the evening's music director.

Next Wednesday, March 1st, composer Jaime Lozano's new Song Cycle, 'A Never-Ending Line,' will have its world premiere at Broadway au Carre in Paris, France.

The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests for the February show include Ashanti J'Aria, who joins previously-announced Carolee Carmello, T. Oliver Reid, Rob Maitner, Jacob Hoffman, Lori Ann Ferreri, Rosie Lani Fiedelmanand Tera-Lee Pollin. Tracy Stark serves as the evening's music director.

Melissa Errico to Sing from 'SUNDAY IN THE PARK' at Transport Group Gala

Tony Award-nominated singer and actress Melissa Errico (who just finished an extended run in Irish Rep's critically acclaimed revival of Finian's Rainbow), has been added to the Transport Group's Benefit honoring Mary-Mitchell Campbell on Monday, February 6 at 6pm at The Times Center (242 West 41st Street).
