BroadwayWorld has just learned that beginning Tuesday, September 15, West End alumna RACHEL TUCKER will join the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of Elphaba. After nearly three years and over 1,000 performances, Rachel holds the record for most consecutive performances as Elphaba in London's West End production. She made her Broadway debut last season as Meg Dawson in Sting's The Last Ship.

Beginning performances Sunday, July 5th, Wicked will welcome two-time Tony and Emmy Award nominee MICHELE LEE in the role of Madame Morrible. A veteran of the stage and screen, she is perhaps best known for her fourteen seasons as Karen Mackenzie on the landmark CBS television drama, 'Knots Landing.'

Wicked just welcomed ARIELLE JACOBS in the role of Nessarose and PJ BENJAMIN, who returns to the Broadway blockbuster in the role of The Wizard. They join a cast which currently includes Caroline Bowman as Elphaba, Kara Lindsay as Glinda, Matt Shingledecker as Fiyero, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible,Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond andRobin De Jesus as Boq. Company Members Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick served as Honorary Co-Chairs for the evening, with entertainment directed by Tony Award-winning Company Member Joe Mantello.
