The first offering for 2015 of Musical Monday and Tuesday opened Monday night February 16 at the Musical Theater Heritage in Crown Center. Musical Monday has always been an audience favorite and for 2015, Musical Theater Heritage added Tuesdays to the performance schedule. Hosted by Tim Scott the production featured songs from the Broadway musical Big River, bluegrass, and country. The production was like a big river out of its banks flooding the theater with fantastic vocals by some of the best vocalist in Kansas City.

A Night on the Town quickly turned into a fabulous night on the town as Kansas City crooner Molly Hammer took the stage. Tim Scott directed the new series from Musical Theatre Heritage, which is sold-out through the end of the production. A Night on the Town named to honor the "A Night on the Town" nationally syndicated radio series, with Executive Director George Harter that he founded in 1998 premiered Thursday night, February 12 at the Musical Theatre Heritage Theatre in Crown Center.

Musical Theater Heritage (MTH), the Kansas City professional theater company specializing in Musical Theater productions, has signed an exclusive lease to occupy the 243-seat Off Center Theatre on Level 3 of the Crown Center Shops. MTH, with its large casts and live music has become a local theater favorite for its intimate and engaging concert-style productions of book musicals, and cabaret shows.

In response to sold out seasons since 2009, additional performances on Tuesday night are scheduled beginning in 2015.

Nine of the finest voices in Kansas City Theater made their way to the stage of the Off Center Theatre on September 8 to appear on Musical Monday and presented the audience with a night that will not be forgotten. Musical Monday began with only a handful of entertainers, Tim Scott, Jeremy Watson, and Chad Gerlt among a few others, with no microphones performing for a small audience. Over the last six seasons, the popularity of the show has caused Musical Theater Heritage to add a second night Tuesday September 9 to the schedule.

On August 17 Cynthia Levin was honored by the Unicorn Theatre when the Main Stage was renamed the Levin Stage by the Board of Directors and the staff. On Saturday night September 6 the now Levin Stage was christened with one of the best performances to be presented in the 41 seasons of the Unicorn Theatre. Hands on a Hardbody opened the 41st season for the Unicorn with a marvelous production directed by Missy Koonce, with musical direction by Angie Benson and choreography by Christina Burton.

One enchanted evening is what Kansas City audiences received on opening night of South Pacific, the Musical Theater Heritage production at the Off Center Theatre. Premiering on Broadway in 1949 the musical composed by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II garnered 10 Tony Awards including Best Musical, and Best Score. It is the only musical production to win all four Tony Awards in the acting Categories and in 1950, won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The Washington Times honored America's veterans, with an emphasis on the dozens of veterans serving in Congress, in a gala celebration just before Memorial Day on May 21, 2014. The ticketed event took place at the Capitol Hill Club from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening's entertainment was provided by renowned tenor Anthony Kearns, who also performed with the National Symphony Orchestra during the 2014 Memorial Day Concert on PBS.
