Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents the rock musical comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS with music by Alan Menken and book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, in which a down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving. Now celebrating its 10th anniversary season, the Alliance/Kendeda National Graduate Playwriting Competition continues to spotlight the best emerging playwrights with a full production for the competition winner and staged readings for four competition finalists. IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT, the 10th competition winner, will premiere on the Hertz Stage January 31 - February 23, 2014. Opening night is February 5, 2014. IN LOVE AND WARCRAFT is written by Madhuri Shekar, a recent graduate of the MFA program at the University of South California, and will be directed by Laura Kepley, Artistic Director of the Cleveland Play House.

On Tuesday, February 4 at 6:30 p.m., ASU Gammage will honor veterans, active duty military and their families during a Heroes Night celebration on the opening night performance of THE WIZARD OF OZ. That evening, veterans and military will enjoy a hero's celebration prior to the show with special presentations, giveaways and more. The celebration will feature a pre-show performance by 108th Army Band in the box office plaza; interactive booths from our Military partners; and a pre-show salute from the Gammage stage.

In 1991, the animated feature Beauty and the Beast became the first 'cartoon' to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture. Prompted by the unprecedented success of the film, and by critics who likened the music to a Broadway score, Disney executives began to develop a stage version with an eye toward the Great White Way, where it would capture the heart of every child in the audience. Disney's well-deserved reputation for quality family entertainment is what prompted BRAVO@KAT to present a spectacular double cast of talent for six shows in late January at Randolph Road Theatre.
