Truth & Salvage Co. Hosts APPALACHIAN HILLTOP FAMILY REUNION Today in Ohio

Scott Kinnebrew (guitars/lap steel/mandolin/vocals), Tim Jones (guitars/vocals), Walker Young (piano/organ/accordion/vocals), Adam Grace (organ/piano/Wurlitzer/additional background vocals) Bill 'Smitty' Smith (drums/percussion/vocals), and Dean Moore (bass/additional background vocals)--are hosting the first annual APPALACHIAN HILLTOP FAMILY REUNION today, July 6 in 'Smitty's' Wellston, OH hometown to benefit the Wellston High School Marching Band. Guaranteed to be on the set list is 'Appalachian Hilltop,' which arrives at radio June 11 as the first single from the band's second album PICK ME UP (Megaforce/Sony RED) out July 23.

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), opens its 19th season with Liz Duffy Adams' farcical comedy 'Or,'. The free love of the '60s - the 1660s - is riotously explored in this recent Off-Broadway sleeper hit based on real-life playwright Aphra Behn's life as an undercover spy and her romantic romps through Restoration England in order to gain entry into the boys' playwriting club. Michael Stebbins, Rep Stage's producing artistic director, who directed last season's critically acclaimed 'Two by J.M.Barrie: The New Word and The Old Lady Shows Her Medals,' returns to direct this regional premiere. Jason Odell Williams ('Two by J.M. Barrie...'), Christine Demuth ('Two by J.M. Barrie...' and 'The Glass Menagerie') and Broadway alum Charlotte Cohn star.

HAIRSPRAY Opens 8/17 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre

HAIRSPRAY, the most anticipated musical theatre event of the summer, comes to the stage of the Moonlight Amphitheatre as part of Moonlight Stage Productions' 31st Summer Season. HAIRSPRAY is the Broadway musical phenomenon that inspired a major motion picture and captured eight Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2003. Chicago's premiere improv theatre iO presents Qweirdo!, a recurring showcase of Chicago's top gay comedians and improvisers coming together every Friday in June to make you laugh in the way that only your gay best friend can. The anchor improv team (not a sailor reference) is '1, 2, Fag and Hag!'. This group is Seth Dodson and Kellen Alexander of iO's long-running headlining act '1, 2, 3, Fag!' who are bringing in Chicago's top female improvisers to perform their signature improv style of intertwining scenes with bold, outrageous characters.
