Red Bull Theater to Continue 12th Season with THE WOMAN HATER, Featuring Veanne Cox & More

Red Bull Theater today announced that their Twelfth Season will continue with Frances Burney's The Woman Hater, directed by Everett Quinton,  on Monday April 18th at 7:30pm, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson).  Featured in the cast will be Bill Army, Arnie Burton, Veanne Cox, Clifton Duncan, Laura Esterman, Susannah Flood, Emily Gardner Hall, Susan Heyward, Matthew Saldivar, Auden Thornton, Sam Tsoutsouvas, Jenne Vath, Nick Westrate, and more.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.redbulltheater.com or by phone at (212) 352-3101.

BWW Review: MR. WOLF is Thought-provoking, Dark, Confounding at Cleveland Play House

Over the last several years much attention has been drawn to the abduction of children and, in rare cases, their return. A short time ago, the Cleveland area had the spotlight placed on it when three young ladies, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, were freed after their many years of captivity in the Tremont home of Ariel Castro. This event makes one of the basic tenets of MR. WOLF, now on stage at Cleveland Play House's Outcalt Theatre, quite inciting to local audiences.

Mitali Perkins to Sign Books at San Francisco Opening of Rickshaw Girl on 4/16

Award-winning Bay Area author Mitali Perkins will sign books at the San Francisco opening of Rickshaw Girl, presented by the Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT), Saturday, April 16, at the Children's Creativity Museum Theater, 221 4th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Rickshaw Girl, based on Perkins's book by the same name, plays weekends, April 16 - May 1, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Last night, Saturday 9 April 2016, after 4,600 performances and prior to the theatre's previously announced refurbishment programme, the final Victoria Palace Theatre performance of Billy Elliot The Musical took place in front of a packed house with guests including past and present Billy Elliots, original cast members and members of the show's creative team.  The over 1530 strong audience rose to their feet for the curtain call to join the Company in celebrating a very special evening and a phenomenal eleven year run in the West End.  Director Stephen Daldry, writer Lee Hall and composer Elton John joined the company on stage accompanied by 32 past and present Billy Elliots (the most Billy Elliots to ever appear on stage together), 24 past Michaels and 18 past Debbies as well as several adult members of the original Company.

Colleen Camp Productions and CRAZYface Productions LLC present a fresh new production of Gruesome Playground Injuries, directed by John Hindman and starring Sara Rae Foster (Showtime's Masters of Sex) and Jeff Ward (Lifetime's Manson's Lost Girls). Rajiv Joseph's poignant and darkly comic tale about love, pain and friendship opens May 13 at the Hudson Backstage in Hollywood, with low-priced previews beginning May 6.

Seattle International Dance Festival to Kick Off in June

June bursts with contemporary dance as the Seattle International Dance Festival (SIDF) brings its bold mix of global and local artists to the South Lake Union neighborhood for a 16-day dance profusion. For this eleventh anniversary year, the festival expands its footprint by adding Capitol Hill's Broadway Performance Hall as the venue for some of the Inter|National and Spotlight Series programs. The popular, and free, Art on the Fly moves to May 21 to sync with the SLU Market. This coordinated effort between SIDF, Amazon.com and the SLU Chamber is expected to enliven the evolving, vibrant neighborhood all day long. As in previous years, evening indoor festival performances kickoff at SLU's Raisbeck Hall; third week evening performances are inside Capitol Hill's larger Broadway Performance Hall.

CBS Sports Announces Coverage of 80th MASTERS TOURNAMENT

Final-round 18-hole coverage is scheduled for Sunday, April 10 (2:00-7:00 PM, ET). Highlights of early-round play will be presented by CBS Sports on Thursday, April 7 and Friday, April 8 (11:35-11:50 PM, ET; both nights).
