Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) will continue its 2016 season entitled Paint It Red with Heathers: The Musical. The upcoming staging marks the first production for this title in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area for the first time. Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) will continue its 2016 season entitled Paint It Red with Heathers: The Musical.  Casting has just been completed for the staging that brings this title to the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area for the first time. The production will run at Drama Learning Center, where Red Branch is the theatre in residence, from August 5-27, 2016. Related interactive experiences, talkbacks, and other special events are in the process of being solidified.

Change takes many forms in CAROLINE, OR CHANGE: dramatic historical change, personal change, pocket change. The word itself is used frequently in Tony Kushner's Tony-nominated musical, which takes place in 1963 amidst the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights movement, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Matt Conner directs Creative Cauldron's production, an apt choice given the piece's enduring thematic significance and a phenomenal turn by Iyona Blake as the unflappable Caroline Thibodeaux.

Creative Cauldron presents the award-winning musical Caroline, or Change, with book and lyrics by Tony Kushner (Pulitzer Prize, Angels in America), score by Jeanine Tesori (Tony Award, Fun Home), and directed by Creative Cauldron Artistic Associate Matt Conner. Caroline, or Change was nominated for six Tony Awards in 2004 and won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2007. Tesori's Drama Desk Award-Winning score combines spiritual music with blues, Motown, classical and Jewish klezmer music. The production will run from May 5th through May 29th, 2016 at ArtSpace Falls Church. Press Night is May 7th, 2016 at 8 PM.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round producing theatre, continues its 2015 Mainstage Season this summer with the singing and dancing musical favorite West Side Story. The musical which was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by the legendary Jerome Robbins, will run from tonight, June 12th - August 29th.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round producing theatre, continues its 2015 Mainstage Season this summer with the singing and dancing musical favorite West Side Story. The musical which was conceived and originally directed and choreographed by the legendary Jerome Robbins, will run from June 12th - August 29th.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will be kicking off its 20th Anniversary Platinum Season on January 17th when the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, The Sound of Music, returns to the theatre. It will be the first show in a blockbuster line-up in a year that will celebrate Way Off Broadway's two decades of bringing live theatre to the stage.

The hit musical about a Southern California sorority girl who travels across the country to Harvard Law School is coming to the Milburn Stone Theatre on Cecil College's North East campus, where "Legally Blonde" will be presented Aug. 24, 25, 26 and 31, and Sept. 1 and 2.
