Jim Meadows is accustomed to treading the boards with the Bay Street Players. He has appeared onstage in productions ranging from the raucous 'Full Monty' to the classic 'Oklahoma.' This year, he adds Board President to the list of roles he's tackled for the theatre. 'I appreciate the trust the board has placed in me,' says Meadows. Cuba's Art Schools & Opera In Progress

The University of Miami Frost School of Music continues the Stamps Family Distinguished Visitors Series with Anthony Davis, Dafnis Prieto, and Charles Koppelman. They will be 'In Conversation,' discussing their opera-in- progress, Revolution of Forms. The opera examines the rise and fall of Cuba's National Art Schools. The work is presented through the eyes of architect Ricardo Porro, who helped design these national schools.
