The ruins of an abandoned WWII Nazi compound in Pacific Palisades, known today as the 'Murphy Ranch,' are the inspiration for a new play. The Athena Cats presents the world premiere of Blueprint for Paradise by Laurel M. Wetzork, opening July 30 at the Hudson Theatres in Hollywood. Laura Steinroeder directs a cast that includes Alex Best, Regi Davis, Ann Hu, David Jahn, Steve Marvel, Peter McGlynn and Meredith Thomas.

The Old Globe presents the first offering in the 2016 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's thrilling classic Macbeth, directed by Brian Kulick, Artistic Director of Classic Stage Company and a leading Shakespearean expert. The so-called 'Scottish Play' runs now through July 24, 2016, in the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre. The Colorado Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 18, 2016 at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue in Parker, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party.
