Matthew D. Loeb, International President of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), will be honored with a special Leadership Award from the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) at its 22nd Annual 'Excellence in Production Design Awards.

Scenic Artist John Moffitt, Emmy -winning and Oscar -nominated Set Designer James J. Murakami and Senior Illustrator Martin Kline join Production Designer Norm Newberry as recipients of the Art Directors Guild (ADG, IATSE Local 800) Lifetime Achievement Award. They will be honored at the 22nd Annual ADG Excellence in Production Design Awards on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland.

Annapurna is one of the highest mountain peaks of the Himalayas, considered the most dangerous. Yet that does not stop climbers from risking their lives. Theirs is an extreme form of commitment. Sharr White uses scaling the mountain range as a symbol in his new play Annapurna now at the Odyssey through June 9. Megan Mullally and husband Nick Offerman under Bart DeLorenzo's steady hand work a sometimes pleasurable, oft times painful but worthwhile 90-minute encounter that puts a whole new spin on marital fidelity.

No, Martin Casella's The Irish Curse is not about drinking, although it is alluded to. It's about men and another serious issue, namely the size of their willy... and how a tiny penis can and has caused a raft of problems in the lives of many Irish Catholic men. Now onstage at the Odyssey, the play has spunky, fiery humor, a crafty analysis of contemporary relationships, both straight and gay...and an unexpected keen exploration of how the issue affects our political and cultural world. It boasts a marvelous cast, evenly paced direction and, like The Vagina Monologues, about women and their issues, it should not be missed.
