Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) announces their 30th Anniversary Season (2014-2015). In their upcoming season, the award-winning company will present three new premieres.

Peabody award winner and Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck will visit Texas State University this weekend to spend some time with the cast and director of her play Seminar, currently in rehearsal at the university.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Jan. 24, for Motherhood Out Loud, Chapin Theatre Company's next production at the Old Chapin Firehouse, 102 Lexington Ave Chapin, SC, 29036. Motherhood Out Loud is a collection of short theatrical works by award-winning American Playwrights, television writers and novelists. From the wonder of giving birth to the bittersweet challenges of role reversal and caring for an aging parent, it is all shared with tremendous candor, heart and humor in various vignettes in this production.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20 and opened last night, Jan. 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing firms, will hold another in its Sunday Seminars series, focused on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway this Sunday, January 12th.

Round House Theatre launches the 2014 portion of its Bethesda season with Pulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck's hit comedy Seminar. This area premiere reunites longtime Round House favorites director Jerry Whiddon and actor Marty Lodge, who have previously worked together on some of the company's most popular and acclaimed productions. This fast, funny, and smart new comedy runs February 5 thru March 2. Press night is Monday, February 10, 2014.

The Square One Theatre Company recently presented a live, staged reading of Motherhood Out Loud in the Community Room of the Milford Public Library located at 57 New Haven Avenue in Milford, Connecticut. The presentation was the Theatre's Welcoming Event for Christine Angeli, the new Director of the Milford Public Library. The special event was part of its annual Readers Theatre series underwritten by The Milford Bank.
