Ten Chimneys Foundation has announced the ten actors who will participate in the 2012 Lunt- Fontanne Fellowship Program, a widely acclaimed national program to serve the future of American theatre. Today, July 22-July 29, the Lunt-Fontanne Fellows will join Broadway legend Joel Grey for an intensive, weeklong master class and immersion experience at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin.

Ten Chimneys Foundation has announced that Washington, D.C. actors E. Faye Butler, Christopher Bloch, and Brad Oscar have been selected as 2012 Lunt-Fontanne Fellows.

The Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre is proud to present Jon Robin Baitz' THE PARIS LETTER, directed by the award-winning, Jules Aaron produced by Patrick Burke for the Group Rep at the Lonny Chapman Theatre in the NoHo Arts District of North Hollywood, California. The play runs July 20 through September 2, 2012.

Transport Group Theatre Company, the winner of both a Special Drama Desk Award and Obie Award, has announced that that their award-winning 2010 production of See Rock City & Other Destinations will receive an original cast recording produced by Yellow Sound Label. The Drama Desk and Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical has music by Brad Alexander and book and lyrics by Adam Mathias. The show was directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III.

Theatreworks USA presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the new children's musical SKIPPYJON JONES, the featured production of its 24th Annual Free Summer Theatre Program. SKIPPYJON JONES began performances on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). Performances continue through Friday, August 17, 2012. Singers Forum, in conjunction with Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning actor/producer Alec Baldwin, have announced the four projects chosen for the first-annual Alec Baldwin Fellowship at Singers Forum. A year-long program devoted to the individualized workshopping process of each project, the Fellowship is an opportunity for emerging artists to hone and craft their work in a safe and nurturing environment. A Festival of the completed works will be presented in the Fall of 2013.

Aurora Theatre Company opens its 21st season with the coveted Bay Area Premiere of Kristoffer Diaz's smart, hilarious power-slam of a play, THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY. Jon Tracy makes his main stage directing debut at Aurora with this sardonic critique of pop culture and political correctness. Featuring Rod Gnapp, Tony Sancho, Beethovan Oden, Dave Maier, and Nasser Khan, THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE OF CHAD DEITY plays August 24 through September 30 at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley. Actor and producer, Mark Consuelos, best known for his role on the long-running soap favorite, "All My Children," will read a portion of the book SKIPPYJON JONES to audience members, many of whom are children who have never been to a live theatrical performance.

TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, launches its 43rd season with the world premiere of UPRIGHT GRAND, a play with live music by acclaimed playwright Laura Schellhardt (Auctioning the Ainsleys). A hit at last year's New Works Festival, this tender and intelligent portrait of the complex relationship between a father and daughter will be helmed by TheatreWorks New Works Director Meredith McDonough. Barrington Stage Company, the award-winning theatre in downtown Pittsfield, MA, under the leadership of Julianne Boyd, Artistic Director, and Tristan Wilson, Managing Director, will present the East coast premiere of The North Pool by Rajiv Joseph, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. Directed by Giovanna Sardelli, The North Pool will run July 26 through August 11 at BSC's St. Germain Stage (formerly Stage 2) with an Opening performance on Sunday, July 29 at 3pm. Come join us once again for a mid-summer's evening at "Cocktails & Cabaret," a benefit for TheatreWorks New Milford's Building Fund. The event will be held on Saturday, August 4, with cocktails from 6:00 - 7:30PM at the home of Pat Catchpole - 13 Aspetuck Avenue, and the Cabaret curtain going up at 8:30PM at TheatreWorks.

TheatreWorks New Milford Stage 2 program will present GODSPELL for two nights only on Friday and Saturday July 13 and 14 at 8:00pm. Tickets are only $15 and senior citizens are welcome to attend dress rehearsal free of charge on Thursday July 12.
