During a recent interview, EVERYDAY RAPTURE star Sherie Renee Scott said the failure of the show to make it to Broadway directly following its acclaimed off-Broadway run 'hit me hard.' Renee said she was shocked when she learned Roundabout was considering her show as a replacement for LIPS TOGETHER, TEETH APART, and said she wanted to avoid getting invested until the deal was finalized.

Australian cabaret artist KIM SMITH returns to Joe's Pub at the Public Theatre with 'MORPHIUM,' a dark and whimsical evocation of the decadence and decay of 1930's Europe. Singing in German, French, and English, Kim Smith reinterprets works by Weimar-era composers, and modern-day artists alike, from Mischa Spoliansky and the Supremes, to Kurt Weill and Kylie Minogue, as he charts a ruinous path through the arrivals and departures of a neo-Weimar, musical misfit. Singer Mary Wilson is the guest star with the current Palm Springs Follies show Let the Good Times Roll through May 16. At 66 this lady is beautiful and has as much dynamic energy as she did when she performed with The Supremes in the 60s , so she fits right into the Follies. All these folks look and act like they are at least 20-30 years younger - take Dorothy Kloss, the oldest living showgirl according to the Guinness Book of World Records. At 86 she has gorgeous legs like Juliet Prowse and can still tap dance at electric speed.
