BWW Reviews: THE THREE MUSKETEERS, A Swashbuckling, Farcical Intrigue at Stratford

Stratford's THE THREE MUSKETEERS is a melodramatic delight filled with swashbuckling action, farcical interludes, and bigger than life characters. It tells the triumphant tale of good winning out over evil. The production should delight those who want to escape the real world and live out the fantasies of days gone by.

WAM Theatre Announces Summer Benefit

WAM Theatre has announced the Northeast Regional Premiere of Emilie: La Marquise Du Chatelet Defends Her Life Tonight by Lauren Gunderson as its fall production. The production will run November 7-24 at Barrington Stage Company's St. Germain Stage at 36 Linden Street in Pittsfield. Auditions will be held May 13 at Barrington Stage Mainstage from 4-9pm.

This weekend, all roads lead to St. Louis as actors are headed there from all over the country to audition for the Muny's summer production of LES MISERABLES directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Kevin Stites.

L.A. Theatre Works celebrates the 200th Anniversary of Pride and Prejudice with Christina Calvit's acclaimed stage adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel, returning from the first leg of a 25-venue national tour for five performances, today, Nov. 15-18, at UCLA's James Bridges Theater. There, the production will be recorded in front of a live audience for later broadcast on public radio and SiriusXM Satellite before heading back out on the road.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company today announced an exciting addition to CSC's performance line up with the regional premier of Vern Thiessen's "Shakespeare's Will". For a limited run of only ten performances, this captivating one-woman show features CSC Ensemble member Sherman Fracher and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips. "Shakespeare's Will" will run concurrently with CSC's production of "Henry VIII: All is True" through February 5, 2012.
