The Times Online profiles writer Lucy Prebble whose play 'Enron' has achieved critical acclaim and is now Broadway-bound. 'Enron' had its premiere in Chichester, has since transferred to the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, and is now up on the marquee awaiting the start of its Broadway previews slated for April 2010 - and all within the span of one year.
PASSING STRANGE creators Stew and Heidi Rodewald will premiere a new concert on February 17th at St. Ann's Warehouse. The concert, entitled 'Making It,' details their journey from New York night clubs to Broadway. The concert will run from February 17th through February 22nd.
According to a report from the New York Times, the Broadway revival of A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE may extend past it's closing date of April 4. A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE is housed at the Cort theater, which is scheduled to house the revival of August Wilson's FENCES starting April 14, which would mean BRIDGE would most likely have to transfer theatres to stay open. Executives involved in BRIDGE said moving would be costly, as would trying to arrange for FENCES to move, as most Broadway houses are booked for the spring as of now.

A new promotional photo from the West End's production of the play ENRON has appeared in a new Vanity Fair feature. Inspired by the real-life financial scandal of 2001, ENRON, which was commissioned by Headlong Theatre, premiered this past summer at the Minerva Theatre Chichester, and then moved for a six-week run at The Royal Court Theatre where it played through November 8, 2009. The play will open at West End's Noel Coward Theatre later this month.

The Oxfam Haiti Relief Fund is inviting people to make a bid on a chance to meet Scarlett Johansson on the opening night of Arthur Miller's 'A View From The Bridge' at the Cort Theatre in New York. The winning bid will receive four tickets to the play on January 24 as well as the opportunity to join the cast at their after party. All proceeds from the bid will go to help earthquake survivors in Haiti.
