Mychael Rambo and Lou Bellamy, directed by Dominic Taylor, with musical direction by Sanford Moore on Thursday, December 3, 2009. The production will run December 3 - December 27, 2009.

HOW TO BE A GOOD ITALIAN DAUGHTER - the solo play written and performed by Antoinette LaVecchia - will conclude its Off-Broadway engagement at Cherry Lane Studio Theatre in NYC following the performance on Sunday, December 13, 2009, it has been announced by the play's producer, Arje Shaw of Jones Street Productions.

THE GIVER, with a book by Lois Lowry and Nathan Christensen, music by Scott Murphy, and lyrics by Nathan Christensen, will hold a premiere reading at the Theatre Company at CAP21 on November 23rd. The cast for the reading will include Nick Blaemire, Vivienne Cleary, Jeff Edgerton, Frank Galgano, Bridget Harvey, Jaimie Kelton, Heather Matarazzo, Kathleen Oliva, Eric Peterson, and Nick Wyman. The reading will be directed by Pamela Berlin.

With the 2009 Summer Classical Repertory Season at a close, The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum broadens its scope to focus on activities such as its year-round educational programs and ongoing development series for playwrights, 'Botanicum Seedlings.' The program's Fall Playreadings are Laura Shamas' Trapper Joan on Sunday, November 15 and Twigs and Bone by Tiffany Antone on Sunday, November 22. Readings begin at 1 pm, and admission is free.
