As part of the River To River Festival, acclaimed choreographer Paul-André Fortier will brave the vagaries of New York's summer weather to perform a 30-minute dance for 30 consecutive days at One New York Plaza starting next month.

Four Choreographers Share a Week at the Joyce Theater runs now through August 14th. If you are a dance fan, it's a great opportunity to check out four American choreographers. If you have a little dancer at home, it's a great opportunity to expose them to the creativity and limitless bounds of contemporary dance. Nonetheless, when you go, I hope at least the sound team on Bright Land gets themselves in order or else you will lose most of what you came to see. Today Executive Director Mark Murphy and Gallery Director Clara Kim announced REDCAT's Fall 2010 Season. Kicking off on September 16, 2010 with projects in both the theater and gallery, REDCAT gathers artists of diverse backgrounds and disciplines from around the world, encouraging exploration and discovery among its artists as well as its patrons. The season opening features a world premiere by legendary Indonesian choreographer Sardono W. Kusumo in collaboration with renowned lighting designer Jennifer Tipton; and the Los Angeles debut presentation of two pioneers of video art in China, Zhang Peili and Zhu Jia.

The Joyce Theater is proud to welcome back onto its stage Israel's Batsheva Dance Company, who will present the New York premiere of Project 5, an evening-length work by Artistic Director Ohad Naharin, for two-weeks: September 21 - October 3.
