The Theatre School at DePaul University is pleased to announce that MICHAEL SHANNON (actor, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD, BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU'RE DEAD, BUG) will join ANGELA BASSETT (actress, NOTORIOUS, WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT, ER) and Theatre School alumnus DENNIS DUGAN (director, I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, BIG DADDY) as a recipient of the 2009 Award for Excellence in the Arts on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.

NCTF Holds Annual Chairman's Awards Gala On 4/20 Honors Jane Fonda, John Breglio

National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) will hold its Annual Chairman's Awards Gala and benefit on Monday, April 20 at New York's Cipriani's Pegasus (30 Rockefeller Plaza). This year, NCTF Chairman James S. Turley, Chairman & CEO of Ernst & Young, will honor Jane Fonda (returning to Broadway this season in 33 Variations), producer John Breglio (the recent revival of A Chorus Line) and USA TODAY.

ATC's 'HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH' Extends Thru 5/31

American Theater Company announces the addition of new performance dates for its hit production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch by John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask, directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. The production has added four performances and is extended through May 31, 2009 at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron in Chicago.

RUINED: The Survivor & The Poet

From the Obie Award-winning author Lynn Nottage comes RUINED, 'a haunting, probing work about the resilience of the human spirit during times of war,' and the front-runner for a Pulitzer nomination. Set in the war-torn Congo, RUINED follows the everyday exploits of Mama Nadi (Saidah Arrika Ekulona), a businesswoman doing whatever she can to ensure her survival... and the survival of the women she shelters. Amidst the blood and lust is Christian (Russell Gebert Jones), a poetic man who yearns for something truer than the senseless gun-shots and mindless profiteering.

Range View Presents EURYDICE, Previews Begin 4/9 At Hayworth
