South Bend Civic Theatre to Present Community Reading of TWELFTH NIGHT, 4/26

South Bend Civic Theatre will host a Birthday Party for Bill! Celebrate Shakespeare's 450th birthday with the offering of Firehouse Shakespeare. On April 26th at 3 PM, join Shakespeare at Notre Dame Executive Director Scott Jackson for a community reading of Twelfth Night. All participants are encouraged to read and share in the roles o observe. All ages are welcome. All you need to bring is a sense of fun and a passion for Shakespeare. Snacks will be provided.

Carol Piersol and Richmond Triangle Players present PATTI ISSUES by Ben Rimalower, playing at RTP in Scott's Addition March 3 - 11 and at HATTheatre in RVA's Far West End March 20 - April 5, as part of RVA's Acts of Faith Festival. Two-time RTCC Best Actor nominee Billy Christopher Maupin (A BRIGHT NEW BOISE, TWELFTH NIGHT, SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN) stars as Ben Rimalower. Broadway's Andrea Rivette to Perform at Firehouse, 2/9

Firehouse Theatre Project once again brings Broadway to Richmond with a one night only performance by Richmond Theatre Critics Circle (RTCC) Award winner Andrea Rivette, Sunday, February 9th at 8pm. Featuring RTCC Award winner - and her costar from Cadence Theatre's Next to Normal - Terence Sullivan, the evening will include hits Cabaret, I Dreamed a Dream, Gimme Gimme, I Miss the Mountains, Someone Like You and more Broadway favorites. FIREHOUSE THEATRE begins its 20th Anniversary season this fall with the gripping tale 'night, Mother by Kentucky playwright Marsha Norman. Winner of the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this eloquent, enthralling and ultimately shattering play explores the final hour in the life of a young woman who has decided that life is no longer worth living. Directed by Helen Hayes Award recipient David Emerson Toney, 'night, Mother plays at Firehouse Theatre September 19 - October 19.

The Neo-Futurists to Welcome Six New Artistic Associates

For the first time in 25 years, The Neo-Futurists open the doors to a group of six word-playing, art-slinging and talent-oozing Artistic Associates. These six artists have been regulars around The Neo-Futurarium for years and the Neos are finally making honest artists out of them. The new Artistic Associates are: Anthony Courser, Clifton Frei, Evan Hanover, Halena Kays, Molly Plunk, and John Szymanski.

John Mincks Stars in Firehouse Theatre Project's POP!, Beg. Tonight

Firehouse Theatre Project presents POP!, a new musical with book and lyrics by Maggie-Kate Coleman and music by Anna K. Jacobs, directed by Jase Smith. Sponsored in part by Yale Repertory Theatre's Binger Center for New Theatre, POP! will play for 18 performances, today, July 11 - August 10. Opening Night is Friday, July 12.
