Willie Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival Announces 2019 Lineup

Willie Nelson, Blackbird Presents, and Mark Rothbaum are thrilled to announce the lineup for the Outlaw Music Festival Tour for the Summer 2019 leg. The incredible lineup of music stars includes Willie Nelson & Family, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Avett Brothers, Alison Krauss, The Revivalists, Counting Crows, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Old Crow Medicine Show, Dawes, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Hayes Carll, Casey Donahew, Matt Mays, Colter Wall, Particle Kid and more to be announced in the coming weeks. (For artists performing in various cities, please refer to the specific market lineups listed below.)

Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Halsey and More Announced As iHeartRadio Music Awards Performers

 iHeartMedia and Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) announced today that the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards will feature performances by Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Garth Brooks, John Legend and Kacey Musgraves, with more to be announced. The live two-hour event airs Thursday, March 14 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.  The sixth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards will also air live on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and iHeartRadio, the all-in-one digital music, podcast, on demand and live-streaming radio service.

X Announce Additional Spring & Summer Tour Dates

The iconic punk rock band, X, have announced additional dates for the first leg of their upcoming spring/summer tour plans.  The first tour leg will begin on May 2 in Hermosa Beach, CA at a VIP party for the BeachLife Festival after which  Exene Cervenka, John Doe, Billy Zoom, and DJ Bonebrake will then join the Violent Femmes for a 9-date co-headlining tour starting May 6th at Humphrey's in San Diego, CA and continuing on through May 17thin St. Louis at The Pageant.In addition, X and Violent Femmes will be among the top stars at Arlington, TX's upcoming KAABOO Texas, set for Saturday, May 11th alongside The Killers, Kid Rock, Sting, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Avett Brothers and many more. 

Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors Added as Special Guest to Zac Brown Band Southeast Dates

Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors will join Zac Brown Band for select dates on the Southeast portion of the latter's Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour this March and April.  Drew & co are set to perform at stops in Nashville, TN, Brandon, MS, Memphis, TN, and Virginia Beach, VA in March and April, for all dates see below and tickets are on sale now at www.drewholcomb.com.

Molly Tuttle Shares New Animated Video For Song Co-Written With Jewel and Steve Poltz

Award-winning songwriter-guitarist Molly Tuttle has released an animated video for her new song, 'Million Miles.' Taken from her eagerly anticipated album WHEN YOU'RE READY, the new track features Jason Isbell on backing vocals and Sierra Hull on mandolin, and got its premiere via American Songwriter. WHEN YOU'RE READY is Tuttle's debut full-length and was recorded in Nashville with producer Ryan Hewitt (The Avett Brothers, The Lumineers). Brandi Carlile Performs THE JOKE Solo/Acoustic On ELLEN

Brandi Carlile performs a solo, acoustic rendition of her Grammy Award-winning single, “The Joke,” on today's episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” Carlile also joins host Ellen DeGeneres for an interview. The appearance continues a triumphant year for Carlile, who recently won three awards at the 61st GRAMMY Awards: “Best Americana Album (By The Way, I Forgive You), Best American Roots Song (“The Joke”) and Best American Roots Performance (“The Joke”). Carlile also delivered a breakthrough performance of “The Joke” on the live awards broadcast (watch HERE). Of the performance, The New York Times proclaimed, “Carlile's vocals were robust, ragged, full of sneer and hope. On a night curiously light on impressive singing, it was an uncomplicated, genuine, cleansing thrill,” while the Los Angeles Times called it, “triumphant” and Rolling Stone described it as, “breathtaking.” Produced by Grammy-Award winning producer Dave Cobb and acclaimed musician Shooter Jennings and recorded at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A, By The Way, I Forgive You includes ten new songs written by Carlile and longtime collaborators and bandmates Tim and Phil Hanseroth.

Brandi Carlile Announces Select 2019 Tour Dates

Brandi Carlile will continue her extensive tour through 2019 including a special debut headline performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden on September 14. Additional stops include Chicago's Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, St. Paul's Minnesota State Fair, Philadelphia's The Mann and Berkeley's The Greek Theatre at UC Berkeley among others. Showtime Documentary Films Announces Docu-Series About Music Producer Rick Rubin

Showtime Documentary Films today announced the latest project from Academy Award® and Grammy® winner Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom): SHANGRI-LA (wt), a docu-series about legendary music producer Rick Rubin that will air on SHOWTIME later this year. A work-in-progress will screen at SXSW in Austin in March. With Rubin's infamous studio in Malibu as the backdrop, SHANGRI-LA pulls back the veil on Rubin and his work with musicians across every genre. The series is an all-access pass into Rubin's creative process, giving viewers a taste of what it's like to be produced by the music world's most singular voice.

2019 at Blue Note Hawaii Kicks Off with G. Love, Patton Oswalt, and More

Blue Note Hawaii is kicking off 2019 with some of music and comedy's biggest names. G. Love will get you in the partying mood, followed by two rounds of comedy with Patton Oswalt and Gary Owen. Swing kings Big Bad Voodoo Daddy return, Anthony David performs the music of Bill Withers and guitar phenom Jonny Lang performs for four nights.
