Beginning May 1, 2010 Genet and Saroyan will be on display in a double-bill at the American Theatre for Actors (314 W. 54th Street). Nutshell Productions will present ' Spend a Night in Jail' including the plays HELLO OUT THERE by William Saroyan, directed by Robert Haufrecht and DEATHWATCH by Jean Genet, directed by Richard Hymes-Esposito.

The family of John Forsythe sadly announces his passing on April 1, 2010. He was 92 years old and, thankfully, he died as he lived his life, with dignity and grace, after a year-long struggle with cancer.

This year's 31 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidates of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University have lived throughout the world (six countries, 19 states and two Caribbean islands). They've played professional tennis, recited slam poetry, and pirouetted in a tutu, as well as acted classically, comedically and experimentally. But all have chosen to spend the last three years in New York City, two express subway stops from Broadway, following their dream and refining their craft as actors, directors or playwrights in the only Masters' theater program endorsed by the renowned Actors Studio.

Pacific Stages will follow up their debut production of Lobby Hero with the world premiere of Something Happened, by award-winning playwright L. Trey Wilson. Something Happened runs April 1 through May 16 at Pacific Stages in El Segundo and will be directed by L. Trey Wilson. The press opening begins April 8 and there will be an opening reception Saturday, April 10.

Sally Kellerman, the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award nominated actress and singer who created the infamous role of Major Margaret "Hot Lips" O'Holuihan in Robert Altman's classic film, "M*A*SH," will appear as a vocal soloist on Monday, March 15, 2010 in the American Jazz Institute's Live From Vicky's Supper Club Series presentation of "An Evening With Sally Kellerman" at Vicky's of Santa Fe; 45-100 Club Drive; Indian Wells, CA 92210. New York's OBIE Award-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble (Zak Berkman, Melissa Friedman, Ron Russell, Founding Executive Directors) today announced the cast and creative team for the New York premiere of Sarah Ruhl's Passion Play (In The Next Room… or the vibrator play) and directed by Mark Wing-Davey (The Singing Forest).
