With ELECTRICITY, the hit LGBT comedy/drama starring stars Terry Ray ('My Sister is So Gay') & Mel England ('Best Day Ever'), sparks fly again in Palm Springs April 9-11. This  immersive theater experience plays inside an actual motel room at INNdulge Resort, 601 S. Grenfall Rd., Palm Springs, CA. I had the opportunity to catch up with the actors as they prepare for this upcoming engagement to talk about their own careers and coming together for this very unique production. Grenfall Rd., Palm Springs, CA. The show beings at 7:00pm and runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

The world premiere of playwright Terry Ray's ELECTRICITY's perfect for those rarefied romantics out there who still believe true love can be found, whatever the obstacles. With a three-decade time span, audiences must check their need for plausibility at the theatre front door in order to accept two actors aging thirty years within the ninety-minute performance.

Media impresario and humanitarian Quincy Jones has been selected as the 99th recipient of the Spingarn Medal. Jones will receive the distinguished medal on July 23rd at 105th NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Honestly, OK, the semi-true story of a girl and her shoes written by Lauren Stone and Nicole Dominguez, based on events in the life of Nicole Dominguez, will open in a full production on June 8th at The Blank Theatre in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Last night Kay Sedia, Frieda Laye, and Chita Parol with the entire cast, past cast members and the audience celebrated their 10th year on the Los Angeles stage. Scroll down for photos of the festivities!
