Theatre Under The Stars' debut production of MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS brings a brilliantly talented cast to the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts September 29 - October 11, 2009.

The new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, announced its complete cast today.

On Sunday, Aug 23rd 2009, Upright Cabaret's incredibly popular 'Wicked Summer Nights' series at the Ford Amphitheatre drew to a close with a spectacular concert entitled 'Stephen Schwartz: Making Good' which set out to celebrate the works of the man who inspired the series, Mr. Stephen Schwartz.

The new musical THE ADDAMS FAMILY, based on the bizarre and beloved family of characters created by legendary cartoonist Charles Addams, today announces its complete creative team. THE ADDAMS FAMILY will open Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). Previews begin Thursday, March 4, 2010 following a pre-Broadway engagement at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre in Chicago that begins Friday, November 13, 2009.

This last in the series of Wicked Summer Nights concerts from Upright Cabaret @ the Ford Amphitheatre Sunday evening August 23 was undoubtedly the best. It boasted the introduction on the West Coast of Stephen Schwartz's new opera Seance on a Wet Afternoon, narrated by Schwartz and sung magnificently by Lauren Flanigan and company. Act II was a fitting celebration of Schwartz's past works with a lineup of very exciting, and mostly fresh, lesser known talents.

The Curious Case of Shiloh and Zahara at The Main Stage Theater for 6 performances only, July 15th -July 30th. Stage 13 will also be hosting a fundraiser at Bar 13 (35 East 13th St.) on Saturday July 11th, which will include drinks, food and entertainment.

The festival will include performances by the faculty and students, as well as seminars by faculty members including Jed Bernstein and Dave Clemmons. Workshops taking place during the project will also be featured including directors such as Frank Wildhorn, David Loud and Christopher D'Amboise.

The Actors Fund has anounced that Tony Award winners Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald and Bebe Neuwirth will headline the all-new 'Nothing Like a Dame' benefit concert on Monday, June 15, 2009 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).
