Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lily Tomlin will make a special guest appearance next month in the 10th anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards. Also joining the lineup is Honeymoon in Vegas star Rob McClure, who will share hosting duties with Julie Halston from the current hit revival of You Can't Take It With You.

According to a listing on their website, PS Classics is set to release the world premiere 2015 Studio Cast Recording MISIA, showcasing the tunes of Vernon Duke, on May 5, 2015.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, February 15 at 9:30 PM to continue the Winter/Spring 2015 Season. The February show will be a celebration of International Bottom Appreciation Day, the holiday traditionally held on February 15, the day after Valentine's Day. Click here for a brief history of the holiday. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director with special guests Kim David Smith, L'Manda, Trapper Felides, Chris Tyler and Brian Moylan.

More of Broadway's best performers have joined the lineup for next month's 10th anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards. Allegiance - A New American Musical has been eyeing a Broadway run since it premiered at San Diego's Old Globe in 2012. Since then, a New York City reading was held, led by Lea Salonga, George Takei and Telly Leung, all of whom starred in the San Diego production; there was also a recent backers screening in Austin. Now according to the New York Times, there is reason to celebrate, because the new musical is officially Broadway-bound!

On Monday January 26, 2015, the Theater People Podcast will release their 30th episode which was recorded live at Fontana's Bar in New York City as part of the NYC Podfest. For the event, Theater People welcomed back two time Tony nominee Laura Osnes (CINDERELLA, BONNIE & CLYDE) and KINKY BOOTS favorite Ellyn Marie Marsh. Laura talked about life after CINDERELLA, the roles she auditioned for but didn't get to play, starring in the upcoming CAROUSEL, raps Lin-Manuel Miranda style, and cruises hilariously through a lightening round.
