Play Dead, the Off-Broadway comic thriller co-written and directed by Teller (of Penn & Teller) and co-written & performed by Todd Robbins is now playing an open-ended run at The Player's Theater. The recipient of a 2011 Drama Desk nomination for Unique Theatrical Experience, the show also features Geri Berman, Charlotte Pines, Drea Lorraine and Don Meehan. WNEP Theater and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events in partnership with the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture present the twelfth Annual SKALD Storytelling Festival, a week-long event celebrating the art of storytelling.

Mitzi Gaynor will bring her incomparable brand of showmanship back to the stage in this new theatrical production, a glittering multimedia one-woman tour-de-force of music and memories from her show-stopping life and career.

The new film Footloose will be expanded into a 'full-blown movie musical' from the earlier film with songs. In addition to starring a young Kevin Bacon as Ren, Footloose also starred Lori Singer as Ariel. It was originally written by Dean Pitchford and directed by Herbert Ross. A Broadway musical version of Footloose was previously staged in 1998. Stepping into those iconic roles are Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough. The film will be produced by the highly successful team of Craig Zadan (a producer of the original 'Footloose' in 1984) and Neil Meron. Get a first glimpse at the movie below!

The Theatre @ Boston Court presents 'How To Disappear Completely and Never Be Found,' a Southern California premiere play by British Playwright Fin Kennedy, directed by Nancy Keystone. The play opens April 30 on the Main Stage at Boston Court Performing Arts Center, 70 North Mentor Avenue.
