The event is hosted by the national educational charity Centre for Inquiry.

The Laguna Playhouse Executive and Artistic Directors Karen Wood and Ann E. Wareham present a special event, Val Kilmer starring in CITIZEN TWAIN, for a five-show limited engagement. Val Kilmer, famous for his portrayals of iconic characters such as Jim Morrison (The Doors), Doc Holliday (Tombstone) and Batman (Batman Forever), inhabits the spirit of yet another legendary figure: Mark Twain. "We are thrilled to bring this extraordinary production to our audiences in Laguna Beach," offers Wood. Wareham adds, "Val Kilmer brings to remarkable life one of the greatest legends of all time and we are honored to have him here." STAGES, a children's theater workshop, is bringing its 19th Annual Halloween Bash Frankenstein Follies, a Halloween-themed musical revue directed and choreographed by Helene Leonard back to Bay Street Theatre. Frankenstein Follies will be performing on Friday, October 25 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, October 27 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15, which include the show and the fun carnival bash immediately following the show. Seating is limited. Proceeds help support STAGES scholarship program.
