Take a Seat Gala to Feature ARTKTR
by Robert Diamond - Sep 6, 2015

Starr PR is pleased to announce the collaboration of Florida-based national mortgage lender Mark Harrison, renowned designer Pepe Villegas, founder of ARTKTR, and featuring artist-symbologist, Lars Walkling, for the annual 'Take a Seat 2015 Event' sponsored by the International Furnishings and Design Association's Florida Chapter. The team will be presenting 'The Fortuna Seat,' which will appear and be available for auction at the RFA Décor (a Rosenbaum Art Company), located at 150 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL 33431 on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The Fortuna Seat is a point of departure sculptural art piece. It's heart, point of origin, is inspired by the paper Fortune Teller often created and passed about in our childhood classrooms. The Seat invites us to expand our imagination, to free ourselves, to create and manifest our dreams. Elements of nostalgia for our childhood memories, play, sacred geometry, Buddhism and flight mingle in a refined minimalist harmony. The 'Take a Seat' event brings talented local artisans together to transform chairs or other seats into one-of-a-kind works of art which are then auctioned off with proceeds going to various charities. This year's event will support the KidSanctuary Campus, based locally in West Palm Beach. This incredible organization is committed to providing services to abandoned, abused and neglected children in the community, and to improving the lives of children in foster care through safe homes and brighter futures. Tickets are available online at http://ifdaflorida.com/takeaseat.
