According to Deadline, Yaya DaCosta, who starred in Lifetime's Whitney Houston biopic, has signed on to lead the planted pilot for the medical spinoff of NBC's CHICAGO FIRE, titled CHICAGO MED.

NBC has announced it is renewing dramas 'Chicago Fire,' 'Chicago P.D.' and 'Grimm' for the 2014-15 season.
