MIDDLETOWN Awarded Inaugural Horton Foote Prize for Promising New American Play

Will Eno's MIDDLETOWN - which will receive its World-Premiere at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) with previews beginning October 13, and opening officially on November 3 - is the inaugural recipient of the newly established Horton Foote Prize for Promising New American Play, it was announced by Mari Marchbanks, Founder and Executive Director of The Horton Foote Prize.

Day, Garrison Join Vineyard Theatre's MIDDLETOWN 10/13

Roache and Burns set for Eno's MIDDLETOWN at Vineyard Theatre, Previews 10/6

Golden Globe nominee Linus Roache (widely known for his role as Asst D.A. Michael Cutler on LAW & ORDER) and Heather Burns (most recently on stage in THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO as well as the films MISS CONGENIALITY and TWO WEEKS NOTICE opposite Sandra Bullock) will star in the World-Premiere of Will Eno's play MIDDLETOWN, which begins previews at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) on October 6th, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director for the Vineyard Theatre.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) will opens its 2010-11 season with the world premiere of MIDDLETOWN, a play written by Will Eno (THOM PAIN), and directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, it has been announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director for the Vineyard Theatre. Previews are to begin October 6, with an official opening night and casting TBA.

Marin Theatre Company is proud to kick off its 2010-11 season with Part One of The Brother / Sister Plays trilogy, In the Red and Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney, directed by MTC Producing Director Ryan Rilette, September 9 through October 3, 2010.
