Daria Klimentová, English National Ballet Lead Principal and one of the most respected and accomplished stars of classical ballet, has announced she will retire after dancing the role of Juliet at the Royal Albert Hall in June. Vadim Muntagirov, with whom she has formed one of the most admired ballet partnerships of modern times, will return to the Company to play Romeo in Derek Deane's spectacular production of Romeo & Juliet in-the-round.
After four years touring Australia and the world, A Solitary Choice returns to South Australian audiences with its Adelaide Fringe premiere. The poignant comedy will perform for one night only at the 48 Lounge (The Big Slapple) Adelaide Convention Centre at 8pm on Wednesday Feb 26. This all SA production, written by local author Sheila Duncan, stars Adelaide favorite Tamara Lee and is directed by Michael Allen and has performed to standing ovations on three separate continents.
Having extended the run of performances, Cirque du Soleil's Quidam now concludes its engagement at the Royal Albert Hall on 16 Feburary 2014 as previously anounced. This visit marks the final time that Quidam will be performed in the UK.
