"Night Of A Thousand Judys"  a special presentation of The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for a signature blend of outrageous comedy, politics, culture and everything in between was presented at Merkin Hall last night and BroadwayWorld was there.

Erin Markey, Josh Sharp, April Kidwell, Michael Cyril Creighton and Phillip Taratula will join the cast of the sixth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre. The event will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan) on Monday, June 6.

The Broadway Artists Connection (BAC) presents its ninth Broadway Artists & Friends Open Mic & Mingle hosted by 6 time Broadway Veteran Heather Parcells (TUCK EVERLASTING) Monday, June 13th 7pm (doors open at 6pm). The evening will be kicked off by a stellar line up of Broadway pros followed by selected 'aspiring artists & talented friends' at the legendary Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 W 42nd Street.

Barrett Foa and Marissa Mulder will join Annie Golden, Lillias White, Alice Ripley, Nathan Lee Graham, Vivian Reed, Lady Rizo,Gay Marshall, Carol Lipnik, Rob Maitner, Gabrielle Stravelli, T. 92Y'S Lyrics & Lyricists will host I HAVE CONFIDENCE: RODGERS AFTER HAMMERSTEIN, with Ted Chapin, Artistic Director, Writer & Host, Joseph Thalken, Music Director, and Lorin Latarro, Stage Director & Choreographer. Scheduled to perform at the event are Ben Crawford, T. Oliver Reid, Betsy Wolfe, Karen Ziemba and guest artist  Larry Pine. The event will be held Saturday, May 21 at 8pm; Sunday, May 22 at 2pm and 7pm; and Monday, May 23 at 2pm and 7:30pm.

Produced by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, this year's Easter Bonnet Competition (#BroadwayBonnets) was held at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45th Street), home to Disney's The Lion King. Featuring performances by more than 230 Broadway and Off-Broadway singers and dancers, the Broadway Inspirational Voices and a stellar lineup of Broadway favorites, this year's fundraising total was a whopping $5,528,568!

Lynn University and Producer Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, are launching the popular Mabel Mercer Foundation's Cabaret at Lincoln Center comes to Live at Lynn Series early next year. From January through May five of Manhattan's leading cabaret headliners will appear in concert in Lynn's Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall.
