Green Space will offer a diverse roster of new/emerging artists in January.

Cultural partners Jacob's Pillow Dance and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) present a one-night-only work-in-progress showing of performing artist, choreographer, and TEDGlobal Oxford Fellow Richard Move's XXYY on January 20 at 8pm in MASS MoCA's Hunter Center.

VH1 today announced a plethora of guest stars joining DAYTIME DIVAS including Star Jones, Tamera Mowry-Housley ('The Real') and the co-hosts of 'The View.'

The On Stage at the Halloran Centre series welcomes saxophonist and vocalist Mindi Abair and the Boneshakers for one night only on Saturday, February 4th at 7:30 PM. The GRAMMY®-nominated musician visits Memphis for a memorable night of music. 

On Saturday, January 14, 2017, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) hosted its annual fundraiser in Miami, theBackyard Ball performance and gala, to help support the artistic development of the nation's most promising young artists. In addition to recognizing the talent of this year's 691 YoungArts Winners, the event honored jazz pianist Jason Moran (1993 Winner in Jazz) with the Arison Alumni Award, and choreographer Jessica Lang as the Arison Award Honoree for their vital contributions and commitment to the arts. The event also featured Javon Jones's acceptance of the inaugural 2016 Max Mara Young Visionary Award presented by Maria Giulia Maramotti, Max Mara's Director of retail for North America. 

With unprecedented access, filmmakers Bob Hercules and Rita Coburn Whack trace Dr. Angelou's incredible journey, shedding light on the untold aspects of her life through never-before-seen footage, rare archival photographs and videos and her own words.

A special highlight of the 2016-2017 New York Live Arts season is its annual interdisciplinary humanities festival Live Ideas. For the 2017 edition, Mx'd Messages, trans-genre artist Mx Justin Vivian Bond curates a series examining the idea of a world without binaries.

MacArthur Genius Award and National Medal of the Arts recipient Bill T. Jones and his Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company present the critically acclaimed new dance/theater piece Analogy/Dora: Tramontane. The performance will take place on Friday, February 3, 8pm, at the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina Greensboro's UNCG Auditorium.

59E59 Theaters will welcome The Simon Studio and Amanagion LLC with THE DRESSMAKER'S SECRET by Sarah Levine Simon and Mihai Grunfeld, directed by Roger Hendricks Simon.

On Sunday, January 29, 2017, the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust joins with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene to honor the memory of Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, who died on July 2, 2016, by presenting a community reading of his landmark memoir NIGHT, which tells of his experience in German concentration camps with his father during the Holocaust.

Theatre for a New Audience has announced the performance schedule, cast and creative team for director Arin Arbus's new staging of Thornton Wilder's comic masterpiece The Skin of Our Teeth, the first major New York production since 1998.

Live Artery 2017, New York Live Arts' dynamic showcase of new and recent works by Live Arts residency and commissioned artists, opens January 6 and runs through January 9, 2017.

New York Live Arts presents the world premiere of choreographer Andrea Kleine's latest dance project, My Dinner with Andrea: the piece formerly known as Torture Playlist, which takes its cue from the 1981 Wallace Shawn and Andre Gregory movie, My Dinner With Andre.
