In honor of the Tony Award-winning musical opening at PPAC April 21, the Providence Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce the Spring Awakening Ticket Treasure Hunt, beginning Friday, April 17, through Monday, April 20! Vouchers for a free pair of tickets to the Tuesday, April 21, 7P performance of Spring Awakening have been placed at participating locations throughout the area, and you are invited to join the hunt and find them! Participants can go to the locations, and ask the staff on duty about the Spring Awakening Ticket Treasure Hunt.

Country music star, CMA Winner, ACM Winner and four-time Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols has been offered the role made famous by George Strait in the Broadway production of the hit movie, Pure Country. According to producer Randall L. Wreghitt, the musical is in the process of securing the remainder of its financing and casting, and plans to open in early 2010.
