As part of their "In Performance at the White House" series, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major artists to the White House for a celebration of Blues music and in recognition of Black History Month. The program will include performances by Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark, Jr., Shemekia Copeland, Buddy Guy, Warren Haynes, Mick Jagger, B.B. King, Keb Mo, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, with Taraji P. Henson as the program host and Booker T. Jones as music director and band leader. The President's remarks will be pooled press and the entire event will be streamed live on www.whitehouse.gov/live starting at 7:20 PM ET.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, and The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space at WNYC and WQXR, announce the third event in the series, TCG Playwrights in Conversation: Discussions and Readings - In Conversation with Anne Bogart. In celebration of TCG's 50th anniversary, four events featuring conversations with TCG authors and featured artists are being presented at The Greene Space, WNYC and WQXR's innovative broadcast studio and performance venue.

At last night's 54th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, Adele walked off with 6 Grammy awards including Record of the Year for 'Rolling in the Deep' and Pop Vocal Album, '21'. The singer made her comback performance after recent vocal chord surgery on the live presentation on CBS.

Last night, BroadwayWorld reported that E! Online revealed that Spring Awakening's original Wendla, GLEE star Lea Michele, is being courted for her old role in the upcoming film version of the show. Now EW.com has confirmed that she is not infact in talks to star in the project. Michele told EW: 'Spring Awakening is so special to me, as is the character Wendla. We have discussed this as a possibility, and we'll see what happens.'

E! Online has just revealed that Spring Awakening's original Wendla, GLEE star Lea Michele, is being courted for her old role in the upcoming film version of the show. E! reports that the film's director, McG, told them that they're hoping the film's schedule can coincide with her GLEE committments to make this happen.
