LML Music previously announced the August 2013 release of SHADES OF BLUE, a new recording from singer Harold Sanditen. Sanditen recorded SHADES OF BLUE live at The Pheasantry, London UK in November 2012, supported by a lively crowd of players including Michael Roulston, Dave Olney, Paul Merser, Bob Sydor and Steve Bentley-Klein. He will celebrate with one show at The Metropolitan Room in New York City tonight, October 9 at 7 p.m. Shows in Tulsa and London are also planned.

Links of London unveiled their new campaign. For a second year they collaborated with the renowned creative agency Air Paris, and acclaimed photographer Jean-Francois Campos, and to create a series of beautiful campaign shots. Focussed around portraiture; the campaign showcases five different visual appearances each with their own unique message and story. Each portrait depicts the individual essence and character Links of London brings to the wearer. The collections dress the model's persona, mood and style to reflect the environment that surrounds them. In doing so, each portrait is a symbolic depiction of individuality.
Shakespeare in the Streets to Open 9/19 in the Grove

A St. Louis administrative law judge, a teacher, a drag performer, and numerous neighborhood children will be performing alongside professional actors this Thursday through Saturday (Sept. 19-21) in Old Hearts Fresh, a one-hour free play adapted from William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. The play is part of the Shakespeare in the Streets event and will be performed each night at 8 p.m. in the Grove (4226 Manchester Avenue, between Tower Grove and South Boyle avenues).

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network delivered its highest rated week in network history for the week of September 2 led by record highs for the fall finale of 'The Haves and the Have Nots' and the premieres of 'Six Little McGhees' (Saturdays at 10 p.m.) and 'Oprah's Lifeclass' (Sundays at 9 p.m.). 'Welcome to Sweetie Pie's' also delivered solid numbers for the week.

Local Grove/Forest Park Southeast residents will be learning staging tips from professional actors when rehearsals begin this week for Old Hearts Fresh, a play artfully adapted from William Shakespeare's The Winter'sTale. The show, part of the wildly successful Shakespeare in the Streets event, will be performed Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 19-21, at 4226 Manchester Avenue (between Tower Grove and South Boyle avenues), and will also include a nightly unveiling of a painted mural.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network scored its highest rated month in network history in primetime in August across all key demos delivering +23% growth in total viewers, +26% growth in W25-54 and +27% African American women 25-54 versus last month. OWN ranked as a Top 20 ad-supported cable network for the month in women 25-54 and for three consecutive months, OWN has ranked as a top three cable network for African-American women 25-54.

In keeping with my advice-giving for young people, I thought I'd address the question of becoming a "triple threat." As I've mentioned before, working at Camp Broadway has made me an official source of guidance for a lot of parents and young performers. The early phone calls were intimidating, I'll admit. Why anyone would trust what I had to say was baffling, but rather than backing away, I decided to face the challenge head-on, and I've learned to go into rehearsal settings, auditions and shows with an eye that's geared toward taking away tips that are helpful for young people wondering what to do next in their journey toward being a performer.

It was theatre magic at its best: rain lightly came down on closing night as the entire cast of LES MISERABLES at The Muny belted out 'The Epilogue' one more time. The audience lept to their feet as the final notes hung in the air. All week long, The Muny experienced a complete standing ovation before the curtain call began, something that Muny goers said hasn't happened in at least 35 years. The cast of LES MISERABLES experienced the audience's appreciation all week long and their final performance was no exception.
