Chance and Chemistry: A Centennial Celebration of Frank Loesser, a concert to benefit The Actors Fund will take place at a Broadway theatre to be announced on Monday, October 26, 2009. The event will be co-chaired by Jo Sullivan Loesser and Sir Paul McCartney.
Broadway's Carols for a Cure, Volume 11, the annual holiday CD benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA), goes on sale Saturday. The CDs are sold at participating Broadway and off-Broadway shows in New York during a six-week 'Gypsy-of-the-Year' fundraising period which runs this year from October 24th through December 8th.

Tony nominee Will Swenson spent Sunday, October 18 mentoring the young talent of Broadway's future as he led a Hair-themed master class with Broadway Artists Alliance. Swenson inspired, as he skillfully guided a master class in 'Song Interpretation' to a group of eager and talented young performers ages 10 to 21.

Last year she co-starred on Broadway in Mel Brooks' musical version of Young Frankenstein and is currently treading the boards once more as Beverly in the controversial The Receptionist at the Odyssey Theatre, extended until November 21.
