Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced the full cast of VIOLET. The musical will star two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Violet), Colin Donnell (Monty), Alexander Gemignani (Father) and Tony Award nominee Joshua Henry (Flick), and will feature Ben Davis (Preacher), Annie Golden (Hotel Singer/Old Lady), Emerson Steele (Young Violet) and Austin Lesch, Anastasia McCleskey, Charlie Pollock, Jacob Keith Watson, Rema Webb and Virginia Ann Woodruff.
Theater critics Adam Feldman (Time Out New York) and Jesse Green (New York Magazine), along with journalist Michael Musto (Out.com), join co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins for a Spring Season 2014 Preview of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions scheduled to open before the Tony® Award nominations are announced in June.

Production has begun on TV Land's newest sitcom pilot, 'Younger,' starring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster ('Bunheads') Hilary Duff ('Lizzie McGuire'), Debi Mazar ('Entourage') and Miriam Shor ('GCB'). The single-camera project, which is written, executive produced and directed by Darren Star ('Sex and the City'), is based on the novel 'Younger' by Pamela Redmond Satran. Patricia Field, who worked with Star on 'Sex and the City,' will be a costume consultant on the production.

TIL DIVORCE DO US PART: THE MUSICAL, which begins previews on Friday, February 7th will be giving Valentine's presents to the entire audience on Friday, February 14th at the DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street- in Union Square). The producers of the show felt that everyone deserves to feel loved and appreciated. After all, the musical comedy is based on the real-life story of a woman who wrote this show while going through her own divorce from a Broadway producer, who left her for a much younger woman.

Bay Area Cabaret has announced that due to an unavoidable scheduling conflict, Stacey Kent, originally scheduled to perform on March 15, has been forced to postpone her appearance to next season. In her place, Bay Area Cabaret will present Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter JUDY COLLINS. With a crystalline voice that famously introduced generations to her own interpretations of songs by Joni Mitchell ('Both Sides Now'), The Beatles ('In My Life'), Bob Dylan ('Mr. Tambourine Man') and others in a career that has spanned more than 50 years, Ms. Collins holds a remarkable place in the music lexicon. On October 24, 2014, The New York Pops - a symphonic orchestra known for presenting popular programs of exceptional quality - will launch its 32nd season, a series at Carnegie Hall celebrating the diversity of some of popular music's greatest icons. Music Director Steven Reineke - described by The New York Times as a "polished, welcoming host" who is "young and vigorous, with a playful attitude" - will lead the orchestra in a highly anticipated concert season, including an opening celebration of The Beatles featuring the Finnish ensemble Rajaton; a festive holiday concert featuring Kelli O'Hara and Matthew Morrison; a solo evening with Broadway leading lady Sutton Foster; and a tribute to Frank Sinatra by four of today's finest entertainers - Tony DeSare, Storm Large, Frankie Moreno and Ryan Silverman.

Making his 54 Below debut, Joshua Henry (Porgy and Bess, The Scottboro Boys, American Idiot, In the Heights) will perform Broadway standards and his original songs under the music direction of Jason Michael Webb (Motown The Musical). Accompanied by Mariand Torres (The Comet of 1812) and a four piece band, Henry will present classic Broadway love songs and motown hits, as well as his own never before heard original music - all spun with a soulful twist.

I am happy to announce further casting for our upcoming production of Violet. Joshua Henryand Colin Donnell will join the previously announced Sutton Foster. Colin joined the Roundabout family starring opposite Sutton in our Tony Award-winning production of Anything Goes. And Joshua, who also played Flick in the Encores Off-Center Reading, was nominated for a Tony for his performance in The Scottsboro Boys.
