'Always, Patsy Cline' is the hit show with songs made famous by the legendary country singer. It's on stage at The Media Theatre June 15 to July 2, starring Broadway's Jenny Lee Stern. Performaces are Thursday nights at 7:30pm, Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm.

The Media Theatre has one musical per season which is not quite as mainstream as the other titles on its marquee, filling a particular void for those interested in passionate works by top notch writers and composers who have pieces in their oeuvre which deserve to be seen but are rarely produced.

'Romeo and Juliet' is a timeless story of young love which has been imitated in countless ways over the decades, even catapulted into the musical theatre stratosphere with 'West Side Story'.

On a breezy August afternoon, as the 'Vocalist' and 'Vocalist Junior' competition are headed into their final weeks for summer 2016, Media Theatre's Artistic Director Jesse Cline and professional actress Susan Wefel, who emcees the 'Junior' event each week, were chatting about the importance and vitality of the contest.

Director Aaron Cromie had two major goals when he set out to adapt Carlo Goldoni's The Servant of Two Masters, now playing at Hedgerow Theatre through June 26. First, he wanted to make the cast laugh out loud at the first read-through, knowing that their enjoyment would be incorporated into their performances, and then passed on to the audience. ?The Media Theatre has the Philadelphia/ Wilmington region's only professional production of the classic play 'To Kill A Mockingbird' starting January 27. Advance sales and buzz surrounding the production are so strong that the theatre is extending it by one week. 'To Kill A Mockingbird' will now close on February 21, rather than the previously announced closing date.
