Lyric Opera of Chicago presents the sparkling operetta The Merry Widow by Franz Lehár in a new-to-Chicago production to launch the holiday season. It opens on Saturday, November 14 with 10 performances through Sunday, December 13. Performance dates are November 14, 17, 20, 23, 25, 28 at 7:30pm; and December 3, 9, 11, and 13 at 2pm. Performances are in English with projected titles.

Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions (Jake Lipman, producing artistic director) has cast its world premiere adaptation of the popular novel, THE INN AT LAKE DEVINE by Elinor Lipman (Vintage Contemporaries), which will run for 16 performances, tonight, October 7, through October 24, 2015, in midtown NYC.
Mel Brooks' outrageously funny, smash-hit musical comedy THE PRODUCERS takes the Palace Theater stage for a special one-night-only performance on Friday, Oct. 30 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the Waterbury theater's presentation of the record-breaking, twelve-time Tony Award winning and three-time Oliver Award winning musical is sponsored by Ion Bank.
