A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held before each performance of WICKED, performing through Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009 at the Civic Center of Greater Des Moines.

A La Jolla Playhouse commission, Creditors opens tonight, September 29, and will run through October 25 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

Tickets to WICKED, a new musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Academy Award winner for Pocahontas and The Prince of Egypt) and book by Winnie Holzman ('My So Called Life,' 'Once And Again' and 'thirtysomething') based on the best-selling 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire, will go on sale Saturday, June 20, 2009. Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) kicks off its 2009/2010 Season with the World Premiere of THE RETRIBUTIONISTS, a new play by Daniel Goldfarb (Modern Orthodox, Adam Baum and the Jew Movie). The production will begin previews on Friday, August 21 with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, September 15 at 7PM. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, September 27 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2007, WICKED, the smash-hit musical will return to Providence, RI, December 16, 2009 through January 10, 2010. Tickets for WICKED's return engagement go on sale Saturday, October 17; the PPAC Box Office, located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence, will open at 8A for in-person sales only.
